Inside the War to Keep Gold and Silver Free from Government Control with Kim Coleman

by admin | Nov 10, 2025 | Sound Money | 0 comments

Gold and silver were supposed to be our hedge against government control—so why are states trying to take over the market?

Across the country, state governments are pushing bills to create state-run gold depositories, policies that sound “pro-gold” but could centralize control of private wealth under government oversight. Daniel Diaz is joined by the new chair of the Sound Money Trade Association (SMTA), Kim Coleman, to unpack what’s really behind these legislative moves, how citizens can defend the right to own and transact in physical gold and silver, and why sound money means real freedom.

The Sound Money Trade Association (SMTA) is a national (and soon international) trade association uniting precious metals dealers, vaulting services, mints, payment providers, and advocates for honest money under one banner.

Reach out to SMTA at support@soundmoneytradeassociation.org.

Citizens for Sound Money is the only nonprofit advocating for sound money legislation and educating communities about gold and silver as tools for a free economy.

Great summary video of the sad situation the fiat based world finds itself in. And, astoundingly, most people are still unaware.
