Nominee: Patrick Karim, Northstar & Badcharts

YouTube: Patrick Karim
Though it’s in the name, Patrick’s charts are far from bad. He constantly supplies the Twitter-verse with all the visual data we can handle about all aspects of the financial sector. His website explains that he’s been a proprietary capital manager and chart trader since 2006. Patrick’s background is in psychology and commerce and he also has a career in systems engineering.

Nominee: Ronan Manly, BullionStar
Twitter: @BullionStar
YouTube: BullionStar
Ronan has most recently become a lightning rod for his exposes on emptying bullion vaults around the world. He drew attention to $SLV and others’ prospectus changes that were sneaked in on investors essentially overnight. He is a precious metals analyst with BullionStar whose blogs often cover current themes including what’s going on in the London gold market and the gold activities of central banks.

Honorable Mention: Jim Forsythe, CEO Citizens for Sound Money
Twitter: @JimForsythe5
Reddit: u/Forsytjr2
Jim doesn’t know I’m including him because he would probably tell me not to (Marian here). No list of sound money leaders is complete without him, though. Jim is a former US Air Force pilot and an aerospace engineer by trade. He served as an New Hampshire State Senator and NH campaign chair for Ron Paul’s 2012 presidential bid. Jim has invested in precious metals for many years and has followed the blatant market manipulation that continues to hurt small investors. Out of this frustration and the #silversqueeze, Jim’s idea for Citizens for Sound Money was born. Be sure to follow his constantly updated DD on silver, $PSLV, Kinesis and more. He obviously can’t get the award, but deserves some recognition.
